First opened in 1991 by Hugh Kennedy, the Kennedy Centre is a retail and leisure development in a largely built-up residential area of west Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was redeveloped in 2008, having agreed upon a new anchor tenant. At approx 69,000ft², its anchor tenant is Sainsburys supermarket, the largest supermarket in Northern Ireland, which replaced the previous anchor, Curleys Supermarket. The complex has a 24 hour Sainsburys petrol filling station located within the grounds.
